Different Buddha in Different Locations
The Buddha protects a certain region and sometimes we have to pray and realize a totally different kind of Buddha engagement.
It is very similar to marriage. The marriage is two different cursed and heavy karma oriented identities (people) who are carrying the family history and who need to bump into each other in this world to complete, or realign, the karma patterns. which is plus (+) and minus (-). It is the same as different Buddha in different regions who need to be combined in order to maintain the world, or natural and human rhythms.
So we have two faces everyday. This concept is from the Mikkyo philosophy. In Japan when we go to the temple, we always have three Buddha in the alter. The first one, center, is the main worship Buddha (Shaka Nyorai, Amida Nyorai, Dainichi Nyorai and so on). Nyoria is the Tathagata, or king/governor of the pure land (heaven). Bosatsu cannot live within and control those realms, but Tathagyata is the enlightened and supreme being. We have one as Dianichi Nyorai and four more Tathagata who preside in the ideal heavens. We can reach through the daily Mikkyo practice to understand and exercise like the Tathagata.
Every second is a change. I recommend you to be a change agent. We need to change previous patterns to be better ones. We have to see both sides of the mountain. Lack of seeing both sides is incomplete. We must go through a period of suffering to get to the present, stable state. We cannot deny one or the other. We must accept both. If we combine hard time and good time, we can complete ourselves as “who” we are.
“Who” is your intelligence out of the experience. It is the completing of the universal cycle. Shakamuni is the master of discipline through experience and through intelligence. Yakushi Nyorai Medicine Buddha always controls the Sun Buddha and Moon Buddha. Medicine is a drug, drug is a poison, but depending on the angle of the light the poison can be very useful or a killer. Yakushi Nyorai is a very good “HR” manager for how people can get good exposure and good behavior from different angles of the light. Yakushi Nyorai's opposite two-sided Sun and Moon Buddha make everything very condensed in the moment.
Our moments are the same as the two different Buddhas bumping, making two different phases now connected. In totally unknown, unclear moments we are binded by two different sides.
Throughout the chanting, throughout the practice, we can be here in this moment as a change agent. That is one way to see this moment.
